The Kamov Helicopters JSC-built Ka-50 Black Shark helicopter is known by the NATO codename Hokum A, while the Ka-52 with two seats is known as Hokum B. Werewolf is another name for Ka-50. It is a high-performance combat helicopter with the firepower, great survivability, and ability to operate both during the day and at night to take down air targets and strongly armored tanks with air defense weaponry. It was produced by the Sazykin Aviation Company Progress in the Russian Arseniev Maritime Territory and entered service with the Russian Army in 1995.
