In 1983 DAF started the
production of this ten-ounce truck of the type YA-2300 for the Dutch army. The
vehicle would be the first to be used for the army’s new community supply
system. The truck had all-wheel drive (6×6) and was equipped with a 245 hp
turbo diesel engine, type DHS 825. Most vehicles are equipped with a loading
crane for loading and unloading.
