Sprinter Mellor Strata

This model is a Mellor Strata body on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis. After new UK laws surrounding step entrance buses in the mid 2010s, the traditional British hopper bus or breadvan was in rapid decline and replaceable only by fuel guzzling single deckers which were expensive to maintain and often much larger than their van-style predecessors. Mellor developed the Mellor Strata onto the Sprinter chassis to create a low-floor minibus with no steps between the pavement and the saloon to comply with new regulations and it has been popular across the country within councils and operators on tight rural routes or small city hoppers.

It was the first mesh model I made for the platform, created in Blender and imported to ROBLOX to provide lower tri, more optimised models. It comes in stock white with a stock interior. The quality is OK, but the model is accurate and well optimised.

As with all of my models, you are buying a bus model, not a fully functioning bus
