Arvidsjaur’s training and shooting range are one of the few shooting ranges in Sweden that offers the opportunity to conduct exercises with larger units. That is to say, everything from training with included weapons systems in a fighter battalion to long-range artillery as well as air operations with attack aircraft, that is, a so-called brigade firing range that corresponds to roughly 8,000 hectares.

Arvidsjaur’s practice and shooting range is located in an area with a subarctic environment and includes approximately 7,400 hectares of upland and hilly forest and wetlands.
