The plateframe provides a minimalistic, lightweight, semi rigid plastic design with a rigid mounting platform unlike any other plate carrier found on the market. This carrier is extremely light in comparison to its full material relatives, allowing the user to move more freely with less weight.

Also being able to see the plate lets you do some pretty funny designs for your plate covers.
